Kristin Fisher joined CNN on the 20th of July, 2021, as Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position, Fisher is responsible for covering everything from NASA's newly-created Space Force to commercial space businesses and the advent space tourism. Kristin's parents were each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space, and she has since worked as a White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the Biden and Trump Administrations' positions on space issues. In that period, Kristin was also a reporter covering impeachment proceedings for the president and the 2020 presidential election as well as efforts of two administrations to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. The president of the time Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan in a trip that was highly restricted.
